FAQ

What are your rates?

Rates vary depending on the type of project:

Please email us at aaron@hellamsound.com and provide some general information on your needs so we may determine the ideal rate for you project - rates for longer projects (such as full-length records) may be negotiable.

Hellam Sound can accommodate projects of all types and sizes, from entire full-length records produced in the studio to finishing an album you have already begun working on, an EP, singles and more.

How can I book a session?

We can book your session once we have determined the project goals and rate, either via email or using our booking form.

Is a deposit required?

A deposit of $380 is required at time of booking to hold your dates on the calendar. A 30 days notice is required to receive a refund on this deposit for any cancellations.

How long is each recording session?

Sessions generally run 8 hours though this may be dependent on your project and the terms agreed upon.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is parking available on 2nd St. directly in front of the studio space.

There are also select parking spaces (all spaces above #35) in the parking lot on the corner of 2nd St. and Jefferson.

What gear is available for use?

Please refer to the gear page for a list of what is currently available at Hellam Sound.

What should I bring to a session?

Typically you should bring your own guitars, drums, etc. Along with our list of available gear (link to the gear list, same as above) we can potentially secure additional items for your session. Please discuss your recording goals with Aaron prior to your session to ensure the adequate gear is accounted for.

Can you master my recording?

Yes - mixing and mastering is included in the daily rate. There are no hidden or extra fees.
